| Commande d'une valeur de 19 000 000$ US de radios HCLOS™ provenant de l'armée américaine |

(Montreal, June 2, 2008) Ultra Electronics Tactical Communication Systems Division (Ultra-TCS) announces the award of contract modifications valued at more than US$19,000,000 through the Canadian Commercial Corporation, for the continued supply of its AN/GRC-245 HCLOS™ radio and associated kits for a major program with the U.S. Army under contact no. DAAB07-98-C-F505.
“Our AN/GRC-245 HCLOS™ radio continues to perform in very demanding circumstances. We are pleased to support our Customers who count on the HCLOS™ radio to carry mission-critical information” states Alan Barker, president of Ultra-TCS.
The AN/GRC-245 HCLOS™ radio is a state-of-the-art Software Defined Radio (SDR) using the Software Communications Architecture (SCA) open framework. The HCLOS™ radio is software-upgradeable to 34Mb/s full-duplex capacity, “Our Customers want the assurance that their radios deliver the capacity they need. The HCLOS™ radio delivers its full capacity throughout the entire link planning range.” states Claudio Lucente, Director of Marketing at Ultra-TCS.
Ultra-TCS has already delivered thousands of HCLOS™ radios to North American and International customers, many of which are operating in the most demanding battlefield conditions. Many thousands more HCLOS™ radios are on order.
